Xiaomi launches Jio Phone competition named Qin1 and Qin1s

Xiaomi is the market leader when it comes to talking about mid-range Android devices. Xiaomi phones have a wide range of powerful specifications that make the phone super smooth to operate and get the most out of it. Now, it took one step further and brought a couple of new feature handset by name Qin1 and Qin1s which are affordable. These two hands are crowdfunded by Youpin platform. Are you thinking that these two handsets are coming with basic telephony and messaging support, then you are wrong Xiaomi’s Qin1 and Ain1s offers the advanced feature which includes machine learning and real-time multi-lingual voice translation support by artificial intelligence (AI).  These handsets are presently available for funding at CNY 199 (approximately Rs. 2,000).

Xiaomi Qin1, Qin1s specifications

Xiaomi’s provided a real-time translation feature as the USP which supports as many as 17 languages and these handsets offer machine learning-based translations. We can control TVs, air-conditioners, set-top boxes, and other home devices with a built-in infrared (IR) blaster which turns the phone into a universal remote. It has a Type-C port.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Xiaomi Qin1 runs Nucleus and is powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6260A SoC, handset paired with 8MB of RAM and 16MB of onboard storage. The handset has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, and a USB Type-C port on the connectivity front.

Both the handsets are coming in 2.8-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) IPS display with a battery capacity of 1480mAh battery which delivers up to 15 days of standby. Qin1 and Qins1s have T9 keypad for inputs along with a D-pad for navigating menu options. The handset has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, and a USB Type-C port on the connectivity front. On the other hand, Qins1s runs Android-based MOCOR5 and has a dual-core Spreadtrum SC9820E SoC, the handset comes with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of storage. The phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.

Xiaomi Qin1, Qin1s price

These two handsets roughly cost around Rs. 1,990. Handsets shipments will be from September 15. Qin1 and Qin1s are available in two colours Black and White. Qin1 and Qin1s are currently on pre-order on Youpin in China.
