Asus Zenfone 3S Max launched in India, priced at Rs 14999

After Xiaomi’s smartphone – the Redmi Note 4 entry into the Indian market, it’s time for Asus to make its call. Asus has launched its all new device – Zenfone 3S in India. The Taiwanse electronics manufacturing company made the Asus Zenfone 3S available in India from Tuesday. The devices will be available to be bought from both e-commerce and retail stores as well.

The device comes with a pretty mid range price tag of Rs 14,999 for is decent specs. The Asus Zenfone 3s comes with a 5.2-inch HD IPS display and 2.5D contoured glass for protecting the display. It also has a premium looking finish with its metal frame, this smartphone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery which makes it almost the largest battery device released in 2017 so far. Zenfone 3S Max is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit processor and a 3GB of RAM to support its functionality. Coming to memory, the device comes with a 32GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB.

The camera on the Zenfone 3S is decent as well, 13MP PixelMaster 3.0 primary camera that supports phase detection auto-focus, with a f/2.0 aperture and dual LED real-tone flash. The front facing camera is a 8MP shooter and can take up HDR mode photos and also takes decent images in low light as well. The front facing camera has a beautification mode that lights up the face in the time of selfies. The device is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and a mod – ZenUI 3  running over it. For authentication purpose, the Asus Zenfone 3S max also has a finger sensor with a decent response time.

This is what the company spokesperson had to say about the Zenfone 3S release – “The all new Zenfone 3S Max has a powerful battery, along with tasteful aesthetics and superb camera making it well-suited for the needs of today’s users,” said Peter Chang, Regional Head, South Asia and Country Manager, ASUS India.
