HMD Global had been very consistent by bringing out the Nokia 2, Nokia 3, and Nokia 5 this year. The renders also reveal that the Nokia 5.1 Plus will sport the notch design. The notched design was previously spotted in the Nokia X6 and it was a big hit to be precise that the model was sold out within 10 seconds of its first sale.

The previously launched Nokia 5.1 has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a single rare camera setup. It does not even have a USB Type-C port but has the dated Micro-USB. All of this indicates that the upcoming update will sport some exciting features.
As per the leaks by OnLeaks and Tiger Mobiles, which have been very reliable in the past, Nokia 5.1 Plus will be seen having a thin bezel display with a notch and will also feature a front camera, earpiece and some sensors on the front. On the back side of the device, a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash can be seen. The renders also show a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. At the bottom, you will have a USB Type-C port and a loudspeaker grill and on the top, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a secondary microphone for noise cancellation.
As per the renders, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will have a 5.7 inches display with the notch like in the Nokia X6, making it the second smartphone from Nokia to sport a notch design. The device is also seen to have a metal casing similar to that of Nokia X6. The dimensions of the smartphone are estimated as width – 8mm, length -149.5mm and breadth – 71.9mm.
The device is reported to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 processor which is a mid-range processor. There are rumors that the launch of Nokia 5.1 Plus will take place at IFA 2018 event which is starting from 31st of August.
