Refurbished Laptop Prices in India

Refurbished Laptop Prices in India

Quick answer: What do refurbished laptops cost in this Budli snapshot?

The 12 selected configurations observed in September 2026 range from ₹15,999 to ₹99,999. Selected Windows laptops begin at ₹28,999; the lowest-priced MacBook is a 2012 model with significant software limitations. Compare age, operating-system compatibility, RAM, battery condition and warranty terms before comparing price alone.

Prices observed: September 2026. This is a dated snapshot of selected Budli listings, not an India-wide market average, buyback valuation or guarantee of current stock.

A refurbished laptop budget can buy very different things: an older Intel MacBook, a business Windows notebook or a newer Apple Silicon machine. This guide connects actual source listings to the checks that matter after purchase, so a low price does not become an expensive compromise.

Each model below links to its product page. Use that page to check the latest price, availability, unit condition and included accessories before paying.

By the numbers: three different laptop buying choices

Grouping the selected listings makes the main distinction clearer: a budget Intel Mac, a Windows notebook around ₹30,000 and an M1 Pro MacBook are not interchangeable purchases. The table below summarises the same 12 configurations listed in this guide, rather than introducing estimated market prices.

Selected Budli asking prices, observed 18 September 2026. Not all-India averages.
GroupSelected configurationsLowestMedianHighestInterpretation
Windows laptops6₹28,999₹29,999₹39,999Mixed Dell and Lenovo configurations; exact Windows 11 eligibility needs checking.
Intel MacBooks4₹15,999₹25,499₹34,999Different years and specifications; none of these selected Intel models supports macOS 27.
M1 Pro MacBook Pros2₹85,999₹92,999₹99,999Two different screen sizes and RAM configurations, both eligible for macOS 27.

How to read the median: sort each group’s selected prices from lowest to highest and take the middle value, or average the two middle values for an even-sized group. Each configuration counts once, irrespective of units in stock. These small, mixed-specification samples describe this selection only; they do not measure depreciation, sales demand or typical Indian market prices.

Three key buying takeaways

  • Same price, different specifications: four of six selected Windows configurations were listed at ₹29,999. Three have 16GB RAM; the L13 has 8GB. Compare memory, storage and exact CPU, not the price alone.
  • Apple Silicon and Intel are different purchases: the selected M1 Pro listings begin at ₹85,999 and support macOS 27. The selected 2019 Intel 16-inch Pro is ₹34,999 and supports Tahoe 26, not Golden Gate 27. These are different configurations, not a measure of depreciation.
  • Low-price MacBooks have older software ceilings: the 2012 Air at ₹15,999 and 2015 Pro at ₹20,999 have Catalina and Monterey ceilings respectively. Confirm required apps before treating either as a daily work laptop.

What your budget buys in September 2026

  • Below ₹20,000: the selected entry is a 2012 MacBook Air. Its low price should be weighed against its age, limited memory and older operating-system ceiling.
  • Around ₹29,000: several selected Windows configurations offer different combinations of RAM, storage, screen size and CPU generation. This is where specification-level comparison is especially useful.
  • Above ₹80,000: the selected M1 Pro MacBooks offer Apple Silicon configurations. They are a different buying proposition from the older Intel Macs, not simply more expensive versions of the same experience.

These are observations from the selected rows, not claims about the cheapest laptop across every Budli listing or all Indian retailers. For a tighter budget, read our guide to refurbished laptops under ₹10,000 for realistic expectations rather than assuming one of these configurations will always be available at that price.

Refurbished MacBook prices: model and software matter

MacBook Air 11-inch (2012)Core i5 3rd Gen; 4GB RAM; 128GB SSDRefurbished₹15,999Older software ceiling; check required apps.
MacBook Pro 15-inch (2015)Core i7 4th Gen; 16GB RAM; 256GB SSDRefurbished₹20,999Older software ceiling; not a default work recommendation.
MacBook Air 13-inch (2019)Core i5 8th Gen; 8GB RAM; 256GB SSDRefurbished₹29,999Not compatible with macOS 27 Golden Gate.
MacBook Pro 16-inch (2019)Core i7 9th Gen; 16GB RAM; 512GB SSDRefurbished₹34,999Supports Tahoe 26, not the latest Golden Gate 27.
MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Pro (2021)Apple M1 Pro; 16GB RAM; 512GB SSDGood Condition₹85,999Compatible with macOS 27; check battery and installed OS.
MacBook Pro 14-inch M1 Pro (2021)Apple M1 Pro; 32GB RAM; 512GB SSDGood Condition₹99,999Compatible with macOS 27; assess whether you need 32GB RAM.

Do not confuse more RAM with a longer useful software life. Apple’s model-identification pages list macOS Catalina for the 2012 MacBook Air and macOS Monterey for the 2015 MacBook Pro as their newest compatible operating systems. Before buying either, check the supported versions of your browser, video-calling software, office apps and any work security tools.

The latest release is macOS 27 Golden Gate, available from 14 September 2026. Apple’s macOS 27 compatibility list includes the 14-inch and 16-inch 2021 M1 Pro MacBook Pros in this table, but not the Intel MacBooks. The 16-inch 2019 Intel MacBook Pro supports the earlier macOS Tahoe 26, not Golden Gate 27. Check required apps and the installed OS before buying: update eligibility does not mean the unit already has macOS 27 installed, and does not guarantee future update duration. See Apple’s macOS 27 information.

Our practical MacBook verdict: Treat the 2012 and 2015 entries as specialist, budget-constrained choices, not default recommendations for a primary work laptop. For an Apple Silicon purchase, confirm battery health, charger, screen condition and the exact RAM/storage configuration. Refurbished Windows laptop prices: compare the whole configuration

At the same observed ₹29,999 price, the Latitude 7290 offers 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD; the ThinkPad X13 offers 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD; the L13 lists a newer CPU generation but 8GB RAM. None is automatically the best choice for every buyer. Screen size, exact CPU, battery runtime and upgradeability can change the decision.

At ₹29,999: which trade-off fits your work?

Four selected configurations at the same observed price; specifications are listing claims, not benchmark results.

Buying verdict: for memory-heavy multitasking, start by comparing the 16GB choices; for local file storage, compare the 512GB SSD entries. For processor-heavy work, obtain the exact CPU model and compare relevant benchmarks rather than choosing by i5/i7 or generation alone. No row here proves a buyer preference or a performance ranking.

Confirm the exact processor before ordering. In particular, the X1 Carbon listing title and its URL show different CPU generations. The table reproduces the title’s specification; ask Budli to confirm the machine’s CPU model and configuration rather than treating either label as definitive hardware evidence.

Microsoft’s Windows 11 requirements include an eligible processor, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot capability. A generation label alone does not establish eligibility. Ask for confirmation for the exact machine, ideally using Microsoft’s PC Health Check.

Windows 10’s standard support ended on 14 October 2025. Extended Security Updates are a separate programme with eligibility and duration limits; do not assume a used laptop includes them.

Software compatibility: the price check you should not skip

A laptop can be fully functional yet unsuitable for your work because its operating system, browser or required application is no longer eligible for the updates you need. Manufacturer compatibility and the OS actually installed are separate checks.

Also considering HP? Browse Budli’s HP laptop collection and compare each listing’s condition, configuration and protection terms. HP is not represented in this 12-configuration selection; the absence is a sample limitation, not evidence that HP laptops are unavailable in India. Other condition grades should not be silently mixed into these price summaries.

Choose by workload, not just the lowest price

  • Study, office documents and video calls: prioritise a compatible operating system, working webcam/microphone, comfortable keyboard and adequate memory for your actual apps.
  • Multitasking and spreadsheets: compare 16GB configurations, SSD capacity and exact CPU performance. A newer i5 can be more relevant than an older i7 badge.
  • Travel and daily commuting: assess weight, screen size, charger and tested battery runtime. A business-series name is not evidence of battery health.
  • Creative work: check the application’s supported OS, memory and graphics requirements. Do not infer gaming or professional editing suitability from the laptop’s brand alone.

If you are deciding between platforms, start with the software you must run, then use our Windows laptop versus MacBook comparison. Paying less for a machine that cannot run your required apps is not a saving.

Business-series laptop or new entry-level laptop?

ThinkPad and Latitude ranges are worth comparing when you need a work-focused keyboard, particular ports or a compact form factor. However, a series name alone does not establish superior performance, military-standard testing, upgradeable RAM or display quality. Those features vary by exact model and configuration.

Compare a refurbished business laptop with the specific new laptop you could actually buy: exact CPU, RAM, SSD, screen, battery expectations and warranty coverage. A new entry-level model may offer a newer platform or fresh battery; a selected refurbished model may offer more RAM or storage at a similar budget. Decide from verified specifications and your workload, not a blanket claim that business-grade always wins.

What to check before buying

  1. Exact unit and condition: read the listing’s disclosed wear and ask about any unclear specification. Condition labels here are copied from the listings; compare the disclosed wear rather than assuming labels from different sellers mean the same thing.
  2. Battery and accessories: confirm battery condition or tested runtime, charger inclusion, keyboard layout and any accessories you need.
  3. Essential functions: check the display, keyboard, trackpad, Wi-Fi, webcam, speakers and the ports your workflow requires. Review Budli’s certification information.
  4. Software and invoice: confirm the installed operating system, activation or licence details and invoice particulars for the selected unit.
  5. Protection terms: read the listing and current warranty/returns policies before paying, not after a problem occurs.

Warranty support for eligible laptops: Budli’s six-month service warranty provides support under its stated terms, unless the listing or invoice specifies otherwise. Check coverage for the selected unit before purchase. Parts may be chargeable; normal battery degradation and software/app compatibility are excluded. Keeping those terms clear helps you choose the right device and understand the support available.

Under the shipping and returns policy, prepaid shipping is free, while returns concern qualifying functional issues within the stated seven-day window and require supporting evidence, including an unboxing video. Return shipping to Bangalore is at the customer’s expense. This is not an unrestricted change-of-mind return offer.

Fund the upgrade with your old laptop

Your upgrade budget is the purchase price minus any cash you actually receive for your old device. If you have a laptop to replace, explore selling your old laptop online for cash before setting your final budget. A resale quote and a refurbished retail price are different figures: the tables above show asking prices for buying, not what Budli will pay for your existing laptop.

How this price snapshot was compiled

We reviewed Budli’s refurbished laptop and MacBook collections on 18 September 2026 and selected 12 configurations from active, published listings with positive stock at the time of observation. Six are MacBooks and six are Windows laptops. Prices are listing asking prices in Indian rupees, not completed-sale values.

Only listings labelled Refurbished or Good Condition are represented. Other condition categories are outside this comparison; that exclusion is not a claim that all other devices have functional faults. The selected rows are not the complete catalogue.

Where more than one eligible listing matched a selected configuration, we used the lowest observed listing price and linked that specific listing. For example, the selected 16-inch M1 Pro 16GB/512GB row was observed at ₹85,999, while another matching configuration was listed at ₹89,999. Unit condition and included items still need individual checks.

This is a dated retail-price snapshot, not a statistical price index: there is no fixed basket, base period, weighting or historical series from which to measure month-on-month inflation. It cannot establish that India’s laptop prices have risen or fallen, or that stock is thinner than usual. Product pages remain the source for today’s purchase decision.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy these laptops at the same price later?

Not necessarily. Prices and stock can change after the observation date. Follow the linked product page to confirm the current offer, and check the wider collection if the unit has sold.

Is an old MacBook better value than a Windows laptop?

Not simply because its price is lower. Compare software compatibility, age, memory, battery, screen and repair needs. The ₹15,999 MacBook in this selection is a 2012 model; it is not a like-for-like alternative to a newer Windows business laptop.

Do these Windows laptops support Windows 11?

Eligibility must be verified for each exact machine. Check Microsoft’s supported processor requirements, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, rather than relying only on an i5/i7 or generation label.

Does the price include a comprehensive replacement warranty?

No such blanket promise should be assumed. Read the unit’s listing and Budli’s service-warranty terms, including exclusions and chargeable parts, before purchase.

Are these prices buyback values or all-India averages?

No. They are asking prices for selected Budli retail listings on the stated date. They are neither laptop selling quotes nor a representative survey of the Indian refurbished market.
